Mrs. Katherine Dickson age 88 of McMinnville, TN, died Tuesday, May 08, 2012, at her granddaughter’s residence. She was born June 15, 1923, in Warren County, TN, was a homemaker, and a member of Gassaway Church of Christ. Mrs. Dickson was preceded in death by her parents Henry Jay and Eliza Jane McCormack Davis, her husband Dillard Thomas Dickson, daughter Glenda Joyce Womack, a son and daughter-in-law Thomas Edward and Nedra Dickson, her sisters Tennie Hillis and Beatrice Rutledge, and her brothers Robert Davis, Carl Davis, John Henry Davis and William Clayton Davis.

Survivors include her sister Thelma Hesler, McMinnville, TN, grandchildren Cindy (Jim) Jenkins, Ashland City, TN, Debbie (Wally) Cox, Nashville, TN, Karen (Ken) Cunningham, Knoxville, TN, Jeanne Dickson, McMinnville, TN, Patricia (Chuck) Shelton, Mt. Juliet, TN, Alice (Ronnie) Parker, Watertown, TN, and Sheila (Mike) Gann, Alexandria, TN, great-grandchildren Anthony Brewster, Jr., Jennifer Flack, Dewayne Cox, Melissa Reagan, Kenny Cunningham, Hunter Shelton, Justin Parker, and Billy Parker, and great-great grandchildren Ariel and Jacob.

Funeral service is 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 11, 2012, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Weldon Parkinson will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. The Dickson Family will receive friends Thursday from 2 P.M. until 9 P.M. and again Friday from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
