Mr. Tommy M. Rowland age 68 of Rock Island, TN, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born February 11, 1944, in Warren County, TN, was an office manager for Gant Oil Company, and a member of Friendship The Baptist Church. Mr. Rowland was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Mary Grissom Rowland and a grandson Nicholas Locke.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years Reva Layne Rowland, daughters Tina (Douglas) Hutchins and Renea (David) Talley all of Rock Island, TN, son Eddie (Lisa) Rowland, Smithville, TN, sister Dianne (Johnny) Cothran, Gallatin, TN, and brother Phillip (Vickie) Rowland, McMinnville, TN, grandchildren Tyler Hutchins, Kapri and Kylie Talley, and Caleb Rowland. Many family members and friends also survive.

Funeral service is 1 P.M. Friday, June 15, 2012, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jason Brown and Bro. Steve Breedlove will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory. The Rowland Family will receive friends Thursday from 11 A.M. until 9 P.M. and again Friday from 9 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
