Mrs. Alma Geneva Austin age 85 of McMinnville, TN, died Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital. She was born August 17, 1936, in Warren County, TN, was a homemaker, and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She enjoyed artistry work including drawing and painting, loved music of every genre, and was talented in creative poetry writing. Mrs. Austin was preceded in death by her parents Arry and Alma Wood Youngblood, husband Donald Odean Austin, and brothers Ernest Wayne (Anita) Youngblood, James Larry Youngblood, and Arry "Jack" (Faye) Youngblood, Jr.

Survivors include her son Don E. Austin and his wife Teresa, daughter Patricia Hitchcock and her husband Gregory, brothers David (Gail) Youngblood and Billy Joe (Carolyn) Youngblood, grandchildren Brittany Lane Austin and Allison Lorene Hitchcock, honorary grandchildren Alan Northcutt and Lee Northcutt as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and interment were conducted October 16, 2021, at Mt. View Cemetery. Bro. Harlen Simmons and Alan Northcutt officiated.
