Alma Lois Lyle age 85 of Murfreesboro, TN died Monday, June 06 at Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born in McMinnville, TN, on March 18, 1937, had worked at Oster and Wal-Mart, and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Shelbyville, TN. Lois enjoyed cooking, attending church services, and spending quiet time as an independent woman. She was preceded in death by her parents William Richard and Fannie Mae Hill Dodd, daughter LaFonda Anne Clontz, and siblings James Clinton Dodd, Willie Mae Marllow, Juanita Holder, Joe Melton Dodd, Claude Brown Dodd, Herbert Denton Dodd, Robert Lewis Dodd, Jonnie Faye Prater, and Margaret Anne Moore.

Survivors include her daughter Terry Lynn Henderson of Memphis, TN, sister and brother-in-law Janie Belle (Ken) Bailey, brother and sister-in-law Richard Allen (Betty) Dodd, six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside service and interment were conducted June 09, 2022 at Charles Creek Cemetery. Bro. Loyd Warren officiated.
