Mrs. Alta Brownie Lance, age 95, of Morrison, TN, died at her residence on Thursday, May 16, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born January 13, 1929, in McMinnville, TN, was a retired employee of over 30 years with the hand winding department at Magnetek Century Electric, and was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Lance was preceded in death by parents Jess and Bertha Underwood Cunningham, husband Stanley Grey Lance, step-son Richard Lance, baby brother William Cunningham, sister Aline Orr, and brothers Chester, Cecil, Jessee, and Jewell (Dude) Cunningham.

Survivors include daughter Susan (Randy) Jaco, grandson Hunter Bernhardt, several step-grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren, sister-in-law Gladys Lance, and special caregiver Joyce Nuss.

Graveside services and interment were conducted May 18, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Bro. Jim Ramsey officiated.
