Eunice Angele Watson, age 86, died peacefully May 11, 2022 at her home. She was born November 19, 1935 in Grundy County, Tennessee, was a homemaker, and a member of Newtown the Baptist Church. Angele was a devoted wife and mother and a strong woman who was a dedicated follower of Christ. She served as a minister's wife for over 50 years. As a Nana, she lovingly helped watch over her grandchildren while her own children tended to their careers and became good providers for their families. She greatly enjoyed Southern gospel music, often traveling many miles to attend singings over the years.  Her hobbies included sewing and reading, especially her Bible as she would often converse with others over scripture. Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her parents Robert Clinton and Leida Wanamaker Stoner, husband Morris Vinson Watson (whom she married on June 30, 1956 in Ringgold, Georgia), and her sister Imelda Redmon.

She is survived by four children, Cheryl (Thomas) Mingle, Lanny Watson & Dell Watson all of McMinnville & Latecia 'Tish' (Larry) Cannon of Murfreesboro; seven grandchildren, Shonda (Shane) Jacobs of McMinnville; Steavon (Lindsey) Bogle of Manchester; Crystal (Aaron) Kiefer of Louisville, Kentucky, Lindsey (Robby) Brown of Murfreesboro, Corporal Ken Clayton USMC, Dellan Watson McMinnville, & Luke Watson Clarksville; ten great-grandchildren, Shayna and Shy Jacobs, Jathan and Braylan Bogle all of McMinnville and Brook and Alaynah Bogle of Manchester, Caroline & Abby Kiefer of Louisville Kentucky, and Cadence and Hazel Brown of Murfreesboro, sister Gwen Stoner of McMinnville brother Kenneth (Vickie) Stoner of McMinnville, step grandchildren Zach Cannon of Murfreesboro, Ken Mingle of Manchester, Krista and Kevin (Laura) Mingle of McMinnville and Kansas Contreras, step great grandchildren Kyrsten (Cody) Johnson, Allison, Morgan and Ava Mingle of McMinnville and Caitlin (Colby) Mooneyham of Bradyville and step great- great grandchildren Kayleigh and Jackson Johnson and Walker Welch.

Funeral services were conducted May 13, 2022, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jonathan Watson officiated. Interment followed at Mt. View Cemetery.
