Anna Rhea Basham, 84, of McMinnville, died Monday, April 17, 2023 at NHC following a short illness. She was born November 22, 1938, in McMinnville, to Leonard and Alma McGee Betchel of the Union community who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Central High School and was a retired bookkeeper with McMinnville Concrete.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Basham, brother, Tommy Betchel, and sister, Ada Mai Church.

She is survived by daughter Pam (Tom) McColloch of McMinnville, son Mickey (Cheryl) Basham of Mt. Juliet; three grandsons Matt (Chancery) McColloch, Micah (Fran) McColloch, and Merek (Alexis) McColloch; five great-grandchildren Perry Grae, Collie, Rhodes, Wake and Caney McColloch. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

Graveside services and interment were conducted April 19, 2023, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Her great-nephew, Jonathan Anderson  officiated.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shellsford, New Union @ Hwy 30, or to Gardens of Memory cemetery funds.
