Mrs. Anna Ruth Cooke, age 82, of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, August 31, 2019, at her residence. She was born May 23, 1937, in Girdler, KY, was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Anna enjoyed baking and canning for craft shows, cooking for her family, was an excellent seamstress as well as cross-stitching and crocheting, loved God, and was an avid watcher of the Golden Girls. Mrs. Cooke was preceded in death by her parents Nevle and Hazel June Bowling Hubbard, sisters Lily Hubbard and Susie Lynn Hubbard, brothers Ernest Eugene Hubbard, Arvle Hubbard, Doug Hubbard, and Lonnie Hubbard, and great grandson Christian Klasek.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years Billy Cooke, children Terry Cooke, Darris Cooke, Linda Griffin, and Dawn Cooke, siblings Lula (Bill) Thomas, Kathy (Jerry) Merritt, Tammy (David) Orrick, and Joe (Sherry) Hubbard, sister-in-law Darlene Roberts, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 02, 2019, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. James MacDonald will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Monday from 10 A.M. until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
