Mr. Arthur Carney Pitts, Sr. age 81 died on Wednesday, June 09, 2021, at his home in Murfreesboro, TN. He was the owner of Pitts Brothers Garage, was a lifelong mechanic as well as a Master Mechanic. He was of the Christian faith and a member of the Morrison Ruritan. Mr. Pitts was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Lorene Tenpenney Pitts, brothers Tom Pitts, Robert Pitts, and John Pitts, and his son Bobby Pitts.

Arthur is survived by his wife Dee Anna Pitts, children Jennie (Rick) Howse, Sarah Pitts, Shannon Pitts, Bodie (Cassie) Pitts, Jeff (Melanie) Pitts, David (Dava) Pitts, Micah (Kindyl) Pitts, and Jamie (Meleah) Pitts, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted June 12, 2021 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Jonathan Wanner, Hope Perry, and his children the 'Pitts Brothers' officiated. Interment followed at Mt. View Cemetery.
