Mrs. Audrey Elkins Raymond age 83 of McMinnville, TN, died Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was born November 18, 1937, in Benton, KY, to the late Albert Deas and Hattie York Elkins. She was a retired dispatcher with UCHRA and was responsible for bus scheduling. Audrey was a long-time member of Forest Park Baptist Church. She liked to cook, read, and sew.  She loved taking care of her grandchildren and most recently her great grandkids.  Preceding her in death was her husband Walter Eugene Raymond and her twin daughters – Faye Raymond, who died at birth, and Jeanetta Kaye Raymond who died in December of 2010.

Survivors include her grandchildren Heather Jones, Monika (Nick) Lewis, and Justin LeMay, great grandchildren Ian McClure, Preston Gumz, Kaylab Jones, Kelby Jones, Braxton Hopkins, LeeAnna Rayne Pack, Ray Walker, Karrine LeMay, and Zoe Jones, several siblings in Kentucky, and close family friend Charlie Bowden.

Graveside services and interment were conducted April 18, 2021, at Fuston Cemetery. Rachel Cantrell officiated. The wearing of masks is encouraged and please maintain social distancing. No food at the funeral home please.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Avalon Hospice for allowing Ms. Audrey to be able to be home to be with her family and experience peace, love, and comfort in her final days before passing. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels.
