Mrs. Bessie Lee Hawkins, age 74, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Friday, December 05, 2025 at NHC Healthcare. She was born on January 29, 1951 to parents Louis and Gladys Campbell Sartain. She was faithful member of The Gathering Place where her love for praise and worship shined through. She was a homemaker at heart and enjoyed going places with her family who were dear to her heart. She was funny and feisty and everybody enjoyed being around her.

She is survived by her brothers Tony Sartain and Mark Sartain, special friend Sarah Johnson and family. Lots of nieces and nephews also survive. She is preceded in death by her biological dad and mom Louis and Gladys Campbell Sartain, Esta Lee (Luke) Sartain, was who raised her and took her as her own, sisters Barbara Perry and Wyneticca Norman, brother Junior Sartain, double first cousin Edith Sartain Hobbs and her husband Morris Hobbs.

Mrs. Bessie Lee will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
