Mrs. Betty Lou Burton age 84 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed away Monday, April 29, 2024. She was born on July 25, 1939 in Smithville, TN, was a member of the Rockliff Church of Christ, and a homemaker who enjoyed birds and flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Odella Goolsby Ashburn, husband Jack Royce Burton, infant sisters Olla Marie Ashburn and Frances Ruth Ashburn, and her brother Bobby Donald Ashburn.

She is survived by her sons James Burton, Donald (Colleen) Burton, Michael (Melissa) Burton, and Chris (Robin) Burton, sisters Dorothy Lee Herrin and Eva Lois Smith, grandchildren Andrea Burton, Erica Burton, Joshua Burton, Jonathan Burton, Cassie (Tyler) Grove, Austin (Skyler) Burton, Bailey Burton, Avery Kate Burton, and Ansley Burton, and great grandchildren Ian Burton, Jasper Burton, Alla Burton, Marley Burton, Alyssa Burton, and Kresta Burton.

Funeral services were conducted May 03, 2024, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bill Boyd and Robert Horton officiated. Interment followed at Rockliff Cemetery.
