Betty Lou Sullivan, age 85, of McMinnville, TN, died Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born March 25, 1938, in McMinnville, TN, was retired from the McMinnville Garment Factory, and was a dedicated and faithful member of the Christian Fellowship Church. Over the years, she provided a loving home with her husband for many very special foster children. Her life was blessed by having them as members of the family. Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by parents Calvin Thomas and Annie Cantrell Pennington, sisters Mildred McBride, Geraldine McGee, and Gwyn Warren, and brother Earnest Pennington.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 63 years Daniel Lee Sullivan, daughter Joy Lee McBride of McMinnville, grandchildren Daniel Seth Jones of Nevada and Califf McBride of Murfreesboro, nieces Anita Warren of Murfreesboro and Linda Grammer of Mississippi, brothers-in-law Lester (Sue who was Betty's best friend) Sullivan, Bobby (Wilma) Sullivan, and Chester (Wanda) Sullivan, and Clyde, Jr. (Brenda) Sullivan, and special and beloved like daughters Cindy (Terry) Bouldin and Kim (Steve) Wilhoit.

Funeral services were conducted February 03, 2024, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Scottie Lawson officiated. Interment followed at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
