Mr. Billy Mac (Bill) Jones, age 73, of McMinnville, TN, died Friday, April 28, 2023, at Tennessee State Veterans Home at Murfreesboro. He was born Aug. 23, 1949, in McMinnville, TN, was preceded in death by parents Russell and Emily Tittsworth Jones, brothers-in-law Glenn Vandagriff, Ernest Morton, and George Whiteaker, sisters-in-law Gwyneth Jones, and Wanda Jones, and step-son Bill Sparkman. Billy retired from the maintenance department with River Park Hospital, was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and served with their Glory Bound Clown Team, was a member of Warren Masonic Lodge # 125, and served his country with the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife Winnie Jones, daughter Shirley (Jeff) Rice, step-daughter Yalta (Glenn) Gay, grandchildren Riley Tate, and Summer Sann, step-grandsons Jesse, Trent, Joshua, and John Taylor Miller, and William Anthony (Tony) Sparkman, 1 great-grandchild, 7 step-great grandchildren, sister Helen Vandagriff, brothers Valton Jones and Jack Jones, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Wanda and Phil Sherwood, Linda and Jim Hinkle, and Pearl Morton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted May 01, 2023, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Johnny Haston officiated. Interment followed at Gath Cemetery. Military grave rites were conducted by American Legion Post 173 and V.F.W. Post 5064.
