Mr. Billy Gene Phillips, age 87, of McMinnville, TN, died Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Willow Branch Health & Rehab. He was born October 04, 1934, in Lenoir City, TN, was a retired engineer with Carrier Air Conditioning, served in the Army Reserve for 30 years, and was a member of The Vine Baptist Church. Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by parents Stanley and Alice Inez Smith Phillips and brother Terry Phillips.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years Carlene Westmoreland Phillips, daughter Gina Lynn Lowry, grandson Clifton (Lesli) Lowry, great grandchildren Lucas Lowry and Libby Ann Lowry, sisters Shirley Johnson and Gipsy Ann Giles, and brothers D.C. (Joan) Phillips and Johnny (Evelyn) Phillips, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Graveside services and entombment were conducted September 26, 2022, at Gardens of Memory Mausoleum.  Phillip Rowland officiated.
