Mrs. Bobbie Jean Sharpe, age 87, of McMinnville, TN passed away May 24, 2019, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born March 04, 1932 in DeKalb County, TN, was a graduate of MTSU, a retired teacher of 36 years with the Warren County School system, a member of Smartt Baptist Church, a member of the Warren County Retired Teachers Association, and volunteered at River Park Hospital for 13 years. Mrs. Sharpe was preceded in death by parents Vernal and Jessie Watson Walker, husband Billy Allen Sharpe, brother Jackie Lee Walker, sister Claudean Lorance, brother-in-law Clifton Sharpe, Jr., and sister-in-law Martha Grissom.

Survivors include her children Danny (Kristi) Sharpe and Tim (Judy) Sharpe, sisters and brothers-in-law Marie (Billy) Foutch and Fay (Jack) Youngblood, brother-in-law Lee Earl Lorance, brothers-in-law, Buddy (Glenda) Sharpe, Gary (Wanda) Sharpe, sister-in-law Melba Hubbard, grandchildren Brandon (Darcee) Sharpe, Kristen (Andrew) Keen, McKenzi Rockwell, and Chandler Rockwell, great grandchild Aiden Sharpe, and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 27, 2019, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Johnny Newby will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The Sharpe Family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
