Mr. Charles "Chuck / Opie" Amos Landon Lance age 49 of Morrison, Tennessee passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 06, 1975 in McMinnville, TN, was an employee of W & O Construction, and attended Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  Chuck loved to hunt for arrowheads, greatly enjoyed Mexican and spicy food, and was affectionately known as a professional loafer. Mr. Lance was preceded in death by his father Charles Martin Lance, Jr. and mother Margarett Ann Coppinger Lance.

Survivors include his wife Joely Carol Taylor Lance, son Landon Taylor Lance, sister and brother-in-law Amy and William Lyle, niece Alesha (Nick) Maglio, great niece Abbie, great nephew Matthew, nephews Jacob Taylor and Jayse Taylor, stepson Jordan Elkins, step grandkids Jameson Elkins and Graelyn Elkins, mother-in-laws Carolyn Taylor, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jamie Taylor and Kelly Taylor, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside services and interment were conducted June 21, 2024, at Whitlock Cemetery. Robbie Black officiated.
