Mr. Christopher "Chris" Ray Phillips, age 58, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 03, 2024 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born on June 10, 1966 in Decatur, Georgia, was an employee of Bridgestone Tires, was a U.S. Army Veteran, and was of the Methodist faith. Chris was a fishing enthusiast, loved history, and participated in re-enactments. He enjoyed learning everything he could about the Civil War and Revolutionary battles, and he was active in seeking out family genealogy. He was a proud member of the Sons of the Confederacy.

Chris is survived by his parents Dr. Ray and Marie Phillips, sisters Meredith Phillips (Jonathan) Watkins and Dr. Melodie Phillips (Aaron) Sorensen, his best friend ~ Bella (Chihuahua), aunts Paulette (Bobby) Robinson and Linda (Homer) Simpson, and nieces Annabella Sorensen, Madeleine Sorensen, and Mackenzie Watkins.

Graveside funeral services were conducted December 06, 2024, at Centertown Cemetery. Dr. James Clardy officiated.
