Mr. Christopher Allan (Chris) Simmons age 50 of McMinnville, TN, died Sunday, October 13, 2019, at his residence. He was born June 29, 1969, in McMinnville, TN, was a truck driver, and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Chris was preceded in death by sons Christopher Allen Simmons, Jr. and Baby Boy Simmons, and his father Carl M. Simmons.

Survivors include his wife Leigh Simmons, sons Nichlas Simmons and Chase Simmons, mother Linda Simmons, brother Brad Simmons, father-in-law Lanny Wanamaker, mother-in-law Barbara Wanamaker, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Barry and Donna Wanamaker, Brian and Cindy Wanamaker, Clyde and Lori Kirby, and fur-ever friend Herby. Other Family members and friends also survive. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Avalon Hospice and staff.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 17, 2019, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Danny Hale will officiate. Interment will follow at Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN. The Simmons Family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
