Mrs. Clata Ruth King age 89 of McMinnville, TN, (formerly of Spencer, TN) died Sunday, May 01, 2022, at her daughter's residence. She was born November 26, 1932, in Spencer, TN, was a retired seamstress with Cole Apparel, and attended the Church of Christ. Mrs. King was preceded in death by parents Montie P. and Halie Clendenon Bouldin, husband George Willard King, two infant children, daughter Connie King Cunningham, sons David King and Jmes Willard King, grandson Tim Cunningham, sisters Effie Bouldin, Ethel Bouldin, Opal Robinson, and Willie Mae Cope, and brothers Imanuel, J.C., Sewell, Roy, Paul, and Hershel Bouldin, and son-in-law Bob Holland.

Survivors include twin daughters Brenda Holland and Linda (Jim) Hixson, daughter-in-law Wanda King, grandchildren David Allen (Jeannie) King, James David (Starla) Hixson, and Miranda (Jake) Davenport, great-grandchildren Ethan Walling, Matthew Hixson, Drake Hixson, Damen Hixson, Adelyn Davenport, Lincoln Davenport, and Levi Douglas. Several nieces and nephews; including special niece Shirley Simmons.

Per her request, she was cremated at McMinnville Crematory LLC with no immediate services. A private inurnment will take place beside her husband at Shockley Cemetery in Van Buren County.
