Daniel Lynn Lawson, born April 5, 1966 (age 55) of McMinnville, TN transitioned to his heavenly home on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca Lynn Lawson, daughters Mindy (Derek) Stone of Walling, TN, Sabrina (Richard) Pekarz of Morrison, TN, grandchildren Brianna Stone, Lain Stone, Karly Pekarz, Roman Pekarz, mother Zanda Hawkins Lawson, siblings Donnie (Marva) Lawson, Jr., Teresa Lawson, Trina (Wayne) Young of Rock Island, many nieces and nephews, Uncle Ricky Hawkins, Uncle Randy Hawkins and Aunt Linda Cumby, his Godfamily William Wanamaker, Tim (Debbie) Wanamaker, and Steve Wanamaker and their families. Daniel was a father and grandfather to many people whom he loved. He was preceded in death by his father Donnie Clifton Lawson, Sr., grandparents Clifton (Reba) Lawson, Grady (Nettie) Hawkins, and Godmother Dorothy Wanamaker.

Daniel was a nurseryman for over 30 years and started his ventures in real estate in 2014. Daniel most recently served as Lead Pastor and Music Minister at Faith Trinity Assemblies of Spencer, TN. He was a very loving, kind, and generous person. He was an extraordinarily talented musician. Daniel loved spending time with his grandchildren and they were always on adventures. He loved helping people discover their talents and true potential. His heart was huge and he always poured out his love on others! Daniel loved to love and he loved to be loved!

Funeral services were conducted September 19, 2021 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Lindell Cooley and Rich Hargrove officiated. Interment followed at Philadelphia Cemetery.
