Mr. Darryl Eugene Curtis age 60 of Rock Island, TN, (Midway Community) died Wednesday, March 02, 2022, at his mother's residence in McMinnville, TN. He was born July 02, 1961, in Warren County, TN, was preceded in death by his father Cleston Eugene Curtis, and enjoyed traveling, hiking, cooking, and keeping up with the latest technology among his favorite activities. Before his retirement, Darryl worked as a mental health counselor and later as a recreation director at Fall Creek Falls State Park.

Survivors include his mother and step-father Betty and George Jackson and a sister Cheryl Hitchcock. Darryl is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A celebration of Darryl's life will be held at his residence in the Midway Community at 552 Warren County Park Road, Rock Island, TN  38581, from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2022. Friends and family are invited to gather to share fond memories.
