Mr. David V. Black, age 65, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at his residence. He was born on December 06, 1960 in McMinnville, TN, was a Tool & Die Maker, and a member of the Earleyville Church of Christ. David enjoyed yardwork and was a very organized person. He adored his dog “Bella B” and was a devoted family man and friend.

David is survived by his caring wife of 30 years Shirley Black, mother Elizabeth (Billy) Pitmon, daughter Wendy (Shaw) Lorance, brother Gary Lynn (Evan) Carter, and granddaughter Emily Gail Lorance. He was preceded in death by his father Howard V. Black.

Funeral services for David Black are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 30, 2026 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Brett Merritt will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
