Mrs. Denise Elaine Hartman, age 66, of McMinnville, Tennessee died Sunday, March 31, 2024 at her home. She was born on December 13, 1957 in Dallas, Texas, was a homemaker, and a member of the McMinnville Independent Baptist Church. She loved to read and enjoyed all things Native Americans and doing Native American crafts. She was preceded in death by her father Joe Weldon James, mother Marlene Lavonne Munday James, and brother Dennis James.

Denise is survived by her husband of 39 years Joe Wayne Hartman, children Tiffany and Heather Kipness of Manchester, Cory and Racheal Hartman of Bell Buckle, Robyn and Ty Barker of Sattelite Beach, FL, and Tyler and Jessica Hartman of McMinnville, 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many friends and family.

Funeral services were conducted April 04, 2024, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Johnny Haston officiated. Interment followed at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
