Mr. Donald Bell Herrin age 87 of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, January 02, 2021, at his residence. He was born October 18, 1933, in Smithville, TN, retired from Ben Lomand after 29 ½ years, and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Mr. Herrin was preceded in death by his parents Warren Frank and Martha Bell Steel Herrin, brothers Charlie Herrin, Warren Frank Herrin, Jim Herrin, Oscar Paul "Howard" Herrin, Ned Herrin, Calvin Herrin, and twin brother who died at 6 months of age Robert Lee Herrin, and sister Frances Cantrell.

Don is survived by his wife Jo Herrin, daughters Donna Debbie Herrin (Horace Anderson) and Vickie Lee Ramsey, sisters Armanda (Carlie) Burgess, Linda (Wade) Farley, and Clarneil (Teddy) Slatton, brothers Ben (Pearl) Herrin, David (Josephine) Herrin, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dan and Myrna Vickers, sisters-in-law Earline Holt and Earline Vickers, nephew Darren Holt, niece Diane Stroop, grandchildren Justin Leith Murray, Jessica (Michael) Welch, Alan (Hillary) Adcock,  Amber Polson and Slade Ramsey, and great grandchildren Lilly Welch, Macie Bledsoe, Blake Welch, Abagail Adcock, Khloe Adcock, Kora Adcock, Charlsie (Chris) Caughron, Aiden Polson, and Layla Polson.

Graveside services and interment were conducted January 06, 2021, at New Union Cemetery @ Hwy 30 East. Jonathan Womack officiated. Social distancing and the wearing of face masks were strongly encouraged.
