Doris Marie Hoover, age 84, of Manchester, TN passed away Tuesday, April 07, 2025 at her residence. She was born on February 19, 1941 in McMinnville, TN, was a homemaker, and attended the Manchester Church of Christ. Marie enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and doing crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents William "Bill" Price Basham and Georgie Geneva Nunley Basham, and by her infant daughter Kathleen Hoover.

Survivors include her children Carolyn (David) Vandagriff, Jeff (Greta) Hoover, and Stephen (Hilary) Hoover, sister Shirley (Woody) Luna, several cousins, grandchildren Christy (Trinity) Solomon, Brandon Vandagriff, Rhiannon (Jayden) Reno, Jordan (Sara) Hoover, and Levi Hoover, and great grandchildren Garrick Solomon, Maverick Solomon, Brandon Reno, and a little guy on the way – Dylan Reno.

The graveside service for Marie Hoover is scheduled for 12:00 P.M. Noon Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Bro. Wayne Cantrell will officiate. Interment will immediately follow the service. Friends will meet the family at the cemetery as there will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
