Mrs. Dorothy Jean Haught age 80 of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, July 06, 2019, at St. Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta, TN. She was born March 27, 1939 in Fairview, West Virginia, was a homemaker, and a member of New Short Mountain United Methodist Church. Mrs. Haught was preceded in death by parents William "Bill" and Olive Knisley Sloan, and sisters Virginia Haught and Josephine Toothman.

Survivors include her husband of 60 ½ years Gailard D. Haught, children Cynthia (Michael) Neely and Kerry Haught, sister Margaret Silvers, grandchildren Joshua (Ashley) Myers, Sarah Haught, and Mikey Neely, and great grandchildren Timothy Myers and Tiffany Myers. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends also survive.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 09, 2019, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Joshua Myers and Bro. Ben Day will officiate. Interment will follow at Centertown Cemetery. The Haught Family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
