Mrs. Dorothy Grace Hutchings age 93 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Willow Branch Health & Rehab. She was born on March 10, 1931 in Warren County, TN, was a member of Bonner Church of Christ, and a former employee of Genesco Shoe Corp. Dorothy was a devoted wife who enjoyed traveling with her husband in their younger years. Although she had no children of her own, she had a soft spot in her heart for children, and her own family was very important to her. She loved to read, was an excellent cook, and was always a lady who presented herself well. Her loving handiwork in her yard showed in the beautiful flowers and landscaping of her home.

She is survived by her nephew Joseph (Lorie) Hutchings, nieces Patricia (Wesley) Suddarth and Celia (John) Fletcher, and several great nieces, great nephews, and family friends. Mrs. Hutchings was preceded in death by her parents William "Will" Melton and Velma Elizabeth Bennett Martin, husband Jack E. Hutchings, sister Eva Ann Smart, and brother-in-law Joe (Dora) Hutchings.

Funeral services were conducted May 21, 2024, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Tim Long officiated. Interment followed at Centertown Cemetery.
