Mrs. Dorothy Helen McClure, age 64, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024. She was born on April 21, 1960 in Torrance, California, was a Christian of the Baptist faith, and was retired from A.O. Smith. Dorothy was known by many names to those who loved her – Mama, Uwellee, Granny, Nana, Dot, and Dotene. She was known for being a good cook, an avid yard saler, and enjoyed playing cards with her family. She also loved the beach and searching for sea shells. She was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Fredia England, sister Wanda England, and grandchild Preslie Slatton.

Survivors include her husband Thomas McClure, children Mandy (Jim) Slatton and Christopher McClure, siblings Ed (Patricia) England, Charlotte (Brian) Emberton, and James (Gloria) England, and grandchildren Kaylee McClure, Kirsten McClure, Kinlee McClure, Tucker (Andrea) Slatton, Ivy McClure, and Aric McClure.

Funeral services were conducted November 27, 2024, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Dean Northcutt officiated. Interment followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
