Mrs. Dorothy Mai Reed age 95 of Morrison, TN, died Friday, December 17, 2021, at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was born February 16, 1926, in Woodbury, TN, was a clerk with Big Lots Store, a homemaker, and a member of the Browntown Church of Christ. Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Lemiul and Bessie Pittard Tenpenny, husband George Reed, sisters Grace Swider and Louise Tenpenny, and brother James Tenpenny.

Survivors include her sons Roger D. (Sharon) Reed, Bryan V. (Sharon) Reed, and George David (Sharon) Reed, Jr., grandchildren Phillip (Jami) Reed, Adam (Jessica) Reed, Kevin Reed (Lindsey Cagle), Josh (Danielle) Reed, Donna Reed, Jamie Gilliam, Betsy White (Zach Burdick), and David Reed (Candida Cook), and fourteen great grandchildren.

Graveside services and interment were conducted December 20, 2021, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Eugene Wilkerson and Marty Tenpenny officiated.
