Dwight Lane Jones 59, passed unexpectedly on Friday, November 18, 2022 at his home.

Dwight was born July 15, 1963 and was a lifelong resident of the Lucky Community. His career as a lineman spanned 32 years for McMinnville Electric System. Dwight was a devoted father and husband. He was an avid collector and he had many hobbies. He loved nature, fishing, and most of all spending time with his sons, watching them excel in the aspects of their lives, especially watching them play baseball and basketball.

He is survived by his mother and father Hattie and John K. Jones of the Lucky Community, sister Jan Jones and husband Reed Wade of Wellington, New Zealand, sons Aiden Lane (Dana) Jones and Austin Jake Jones, loving wife and friend of 30 years, Tammy Jones, and many friends and family, as well as his small companion Marley.

A memorial celebration of life service will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. Monday, November 28, 2022 at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Neal Smith and Craig Foster will officiate. Visitation with the Jones family will be on Monday, from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 5:00 P.M. at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
