Edith Lehew Pearson left her earthly house and entered her heavenly home to live eternally at 10:30 AM Sunday morning. She was born October 16, 1935, in Gallatin, TN, and passed from this life at the age of 86 on May 22, 2022. Edith was a homemaker, worked as a substitute teacher, and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a member of the Freed-Hardeman Women's Auxiliary working with community events, enjoyed travelling very much, loved her grandkids and great grandkids, cherished the time she spent visiting with family, spent time reading, doing needlework and sewing. She treasured being a great organizer of her home and family events that brought her loved ones together. Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by parents Levin Lewis and Ona Lee Lehew Maxey, brothers Melvin Maxey and Irvin Maxey, and sisters Earlene Templeton Janelle Martin, and Juanita Wingo.

Edith is survived by her husband Charles W. Pearson whom she lovingly shared 68 years and 22 days of marriage together, her daughters Karen Northcutt and Sherry (Ric) Kinkade, grandchildren Brandi Gipson, Travis Gipson, Rikki (Logan) Seal, and Pearce (Sophie) Kinkade, great grandchildren Shayla Crawford, Abbigale Judkins, Logan Novak-Tibbett, Dane Fletcher, Peyton Jones, and Ronan Seal, and great-great grandchild Oakley Bain. She was also a favorite aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted May 25, 2022, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Wayne Cantrell, Bro. Troy Sullens, and Pearce Kinkade officiated. Interment followed at Mt. View Cemetery.
