Edna Ruth Bowman Boren age 90 of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Raintree Manor Nursing Center. She was born April 20, 1929, in Woodbury, was a retired cafeteria worker with Warren County Middle School, member of the Central Church of Christ, attended West Riverside Church of Christ, and was preceded in death by parents Hoyd and Minnie Smith Bowman, husband J. R. Boren, daughter Janice Boren, and a sister Doris Hibdon.

Survivors include her daughter Nancy Hayes, grandchildren Jamie Hayes and Chris Hayes, great-grandchild Haylie Hayes, sisters Louise Hillis, Peggy Hollis, and Shirley Borren, and brothers Keith (Anita) Bowman, Edward (Mary) Bowman, and Richard (Brenda) Bowman. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 25, 2019, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Dorris Hughes will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Monday from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
