Mr. Elvis Newton Underwood, Jr., age 86, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital. He was born on March 22, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army working within the transportation area and railroad. He was preceded in death by his parents Elvis Newton Underwood and Ester Underwood, Sr., daughter Tracy Pfingsten, and his brother Arnold Underwood.

Mr. Underwood is survived by wife Beryl Naomi Nelms Underwood, children Elvis Richard Underwood, Duwana Underwood, Susan Marie Dougan, Paul Keith Underwood, Sandra Dee Leadingham, Elvis Newton Underwood, III, and Anthony Allen Underwood.

Mr. Underwood's family has chosen cremation and no public services are being announced.
