Mr. Eugene Langford age 83 of McMinnville, TN, (Shellsford Community) died Friday, December 20, 2019, at his residence. He was born November 04, 1936, in Cookeville, TN, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a former employee of Century Electric (Gould), and a member of Shellsford Baptist Church. Mr. Langford was preceded in death by his parents Wiley Waymon and Loretta Belle Moore Langford, brother Kenneth Langford, and sisters Alpha Coull and Alma Fariss.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years Dean Chastain Langford, children Debi Jones, Denise (Joe) Layne, Danny (Amye) Langford, and Darren Langford all of McMinnville, grandchildren Heather (Nathan) Craddock, Britani Webb (Matt Long), Cole (Madesta) Langford, and Drew Langford, great grandchildren Kolby, Ty, Chase, Levi, Tucker, Caleb and Sophie Craddock, Calijah and Maggie Langford, Adyson Shay, Rhyleigh Webb, and Cameron Long, and sisters Olga Kinnaird and Alice Kinnard. Many nieces, nephews, family members and family friends also survive.

Funeral service will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 22, 2019, at the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. David Bratcher and Bro. Mike Adams will officiate. Interment will follow at Shellsford Cemetery with Gene McClure speaking. Military Grave Rites will be administered by American Legion Post 173 and VFW Post 5064. The Langford Family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again Sunday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
