Evelyn Jo Howard, age 82, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at her residence. She was born on January 29, 1942 in Anderson, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents Luther H. Whitfield and Katie Norris Whitfield and by her husband.

Evelyn Jo is survived by her daughter Patricia "Pat" Kay Laws of McMinnville, sisters Katherine Sellars, Mary Francis Rager, and Maxine Penn, and by her brothers Billy Ray Whitfield, Harold Whitfield, and Johnny Whitfield.

The family has honored her requests, and no public memorial service is being announced at this time. McMinnville Funeral Home, LLC and McMinnville Crematory LLC have been entrusted with arrangements.
