Obituary

Mrs. Georgia Faye Stiles Bouldin "Granny Faye" passed away from this life on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at the age of 86. She was born on September 23rd 1932 to the late James Ross and Clista Gribble Stiles of McMinnville, Tennessee. Throughout her school years, she attended Wayside, the City Grammar School, and Central High School. At the age of 18, Granny Faye was to be the valedictorian of her graduating class, but gave that up to marry her love, J.L. Bouldin "Honeyfather". In their forty-three-year marriage, she had two children, a daughter, Sherry Bouldin Cope, and a son, Johnny Bouldin, whom she loved more than life. As a family, they spent many years overseas while Honeyfather served in the Air Force. When they came back to the states, Granny Faye worked as a secretary for Dr. Phillips, owned and ran the Bouldin Handle Company, and was a retiree from Fall Creek Falls. Honeyfather passed away in 1993 and Granny Faye later married a fellow Church of Christ member, Sewell Bouldin. She spent her lifetime spreading the gospel and shining her light on everyone, as a true Christian example to us all.

Granny Faye was a treasured member of the Church of Christ congregations at Bethlehem, Shockley, Highland, & Bybee Branch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, J.L. Bouldin and Sewell Bouldin, daughter, Sherry Bouldin Cope, brothers Willie Bright and James Stiles, and sisters Shirlee Stiles Young and Dot Stiles Peel.

Granny Faye is survived by her son, Johnny (Angela) Bouldin, sister, Helen Morgan, three brothers, Chester Bright, Wesley Stiles, & Dewey Lee Stiles, grandchildren, Keith (Christina) Cope, Andrea (Jathan) Mooneyham, Amelia (Chad) Mooneyham, & Abbie Bouldin, as well as her great-grandchildren, Alex Cope, Jensen, Eden, Coy, & Ava Mooneyham, treasured friends, Kenneth and Suzie Burdette and the younger Faye Bouldin, as well as many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.

Visitation will be at McMinnville Funeral Home on Monday, May 27, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Her service will be held at Bethlehem Church of Christ on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment to follow at Shockley Cemetery. Keith Young and Tony Lawrence will officiate the ceremony.

Granny Faye loved and treated everyone as family and it was her fervent wish that "We shall all be so blessed to hear our Father's "Welcome Home" in Heaven eternally. 1 Corinthians 15:57-58
