Mr. Fred Allen Jones, age 81, died in St. Louis, Missouri on Monday, October 28, 2024. He was born on April 23, 1943 in McMinnville, TN, was of the Christian faith, and worked in publishing. Fred majored in Journalism, greatly enjoyed antique cars and was a member of the Studebaker Club. He loved his family, liked putting puzzles together, and was the glue that brought all of his nieces and nephews together. Fred was a people person who kept in touch with his Central Class of '61 classmates, attending every class reunion and family reunion that he could.

Survivors include his two brothers James Austin Jones (Judy Coppinger) and Carl Clark (Susie) Jones, sister Sarah Frances Jones West, several nieces and nephews and their families, cousins, and family friends. He was preceded in death by his parents John Austin Jones and Crystal Louise Smith Jones, sister Barbara Ann Jones (Charles H.) Turner, and brother-in-law Wilburn West.

Funeral services were conducted November 03, 2024, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Chad Coppinger officiated. Interment followed at Mt. View Cemetery.
