Freda May Hewitt age 82 of McMinnville, Tennessee, passed from this life Monday, December 28, 2020 at NHC HealthCare in McMinnville, TN. She was born April 16, 1938 in Beardstown, IL, attended Calvary Baptist Church, and had worked at Walgreens as an associate in the photo department. Freda loved going to yard sales and collecting "treasures" and sitting outside socializing with neighbors especially friends Mike, Lloyd, and Kenny. She also enjoyed gardening. Ms. Hewitt was preceded in death by her parents Elmer (Flossie) Anderson and Freda Summey, and brothers Johnny Anderson, Leroy Anderson, Dick Anderson, and Herb Anderson.

Freda is survived by her daughters Janet (David) Holcomb of McMinnville, Mitzi (Dan) McClenning of Virginia, IL, and Patty Davidsmeier of Springfield, IL, sisters Betty (Pat) Patterson of Beardstown, IL, Linda (Dale) Zeisler and Cathy (Tony) Pate of Rushville, IL, and Debbie Summey of Garland, TX, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
