Mrs. Glenda Carol Sawyer, age 73, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Saturday, November 08, 2025 at Ascension St. Thomas Riverpark. She was born on September 23, 1952 in Kirksville, MO to the late Glenn Maruice Stafford and Rena Evelyn Boden Stafford. She was a devoted school teacher and carried that love out of state to North Carolina as well as Fentress County and Bledsoe County in Tennessee. She majored in music in her college years and was a member of the First Church of Nazarene in Manchester, TN.

Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years David Sawyer, son Chad (Jennifer) Sawyer, sister Sandy Gosoroski, and grandchildren Chad Sawyer, Jr., Timothy Thorne, Tyler Thorne, and Christopher Thorne. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Monique Sawyer.
