Mr. Gordon "Buster" Wade age 73 of McMinnville, TN (Jacksboro Community), died Thursday, December 12, 2019, at St. Thomas River Park Hospital. He was born April 20, 1946 in Morrison, TN, was a long-time farmer, former co-owner of Wade & Wilson Farms, and worked at Warren County Farmers Co-Op for 10 years, attended Amity The Baptist Church, served on the Soil Conservation Board for 18 years, was a prior member of the Farm Service Agency, currently serving as VP with the Warren County Farmers Co-Op Board where he has served since 1993, the UT-TSU Extension Agriculture Committee and the Warren County Farm Bureau Board since 1989. Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his parents T.C., Jr. and Julia Teeters Wade, and nephew Grant Wade.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years Evelyn Wade, daughters Sebrena Wade and Trena Wade, sister Kay (Jim) Davenport, brother Steve (Elaine) Wade, life-long best friend Morris "Moose" (Fay) Wilson, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many family friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M Monday, December 16, 2019, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Leonard Herman and Elder Nick Pelham will officiate. Interment will follow at Caney Branch Cemetery. The Wade Family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.

Current and former Board Members of the Warren County Co-Op are asked to serve as honorary pallbearers.
