Mrs. Helen Gilley Jacobs age 91 of Morrison, TN, died Saturday evening December 12, 2020, at N.H.C. Healthcare. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years John Hollis Jacobs, parents J.W. and Allie Gilley, brothers Wesley Gilley and Lanier Gilley, and sister Treva Bennett. Helen was a long-time member of Morrison United Methodist Church, loved Vanderbilt Baseball, and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves because of their awesome short-stop Dansby Swanson.

Survivors include her daughter Ann Eades, son Andy (Cindy) Jacobs, granddaughter Autumn (John) Hawkins, and great grandson and the love of her life Jack Andrew Hawkins.

Graveside services and interment were conducted at Morrison Cemetery. Lavell Whitehead and Daron Whitehead officiated. Wearing facial masks and social distancing were strongly encouraged.

A word of thanks goes out from the family for the extra special care and concern of nurse practitioner Shauna Samuels and all the NHC Staff who went beyond the call of duty in the care of their loved one.
