Mr. James Lynn "Jimmy" Basham age 67 of Rock Island, TN, died Monday, January 31, 2022, at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN. He was born in Warren County, TN, on November 26, 1954, was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, a retired truck driver with Batesville Casket Company where he achieved a record of over 3 million miles of safe driving, and worked alongside his family with Basham Farms as a co-owner, and enjoyed operating any and all types of driving equipment and was an avid fan of everything John Deere. He was preceded in death by his father Joe Bob Basham.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 39 years Jennifer Medley Basham, mother Dorothy Jean Haston Basham, sons Montgomery (Nikki) Basham and Will (Breanna) Basham, brothers Jerry Basham (Brenda Smith), Rickey Basham (Jennie Sydenstricker), and Steve Basham, grandchildren Avery Kate Basham and Maverick Lynn Basham, nieces Stacey Elam and Anissa Basham, and nephew Christopher Basham.

Funeral services were conducted February 05, 2022 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Steve Breedlove and Kevin Clark officiated. Interment followed at Mt. View Cemetery.
