Mr. James David Hopkins age 52 of McMinnville, TN, died Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born March 25,1967, in Spencer, TN, was a horse trainer, worked at Morrison Tool & Fab, and a member of Turning Point Pentecostal Church. Mr. Hopkins was preceded in death by his father Willie Lee Hopkins.

Survivors include his wife Lorie Ann Bonner Hopkins, mother Beatrice Walling Hopkins, son Michael Hopkins, step-children Kodi Bouldin, Shelby and Stacie Bouldin, siblings Linda (Jimmy) Trusty, Wayne (Tina) Hopkins, and Donnie (Kim) Hopkins, and grandchildren Jerico, Selene, and Erin Hopkins. Many nieces, nephews, and family friends also survive.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 22, 2020, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Wayne Hopkins, Bro. Aaron Martin, and Bro. Donnie Hopkins will officiate. The Hopkins Family will receive friends Saturday after the service until 1:00 P.M. at the Chapel of McMinnville Funeral Home.
