Mr. James A. Womack age 93 of McMinnville, TN, died Wednesday, December 04, 2019, at   Community Care of Rutherford County.  He was born July 17, 1926 in McMinnville TN, served in the U.S. Army, was a retired farmer and a member of Mt. Hope The Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.  Mr. Womack was preceded in death by parents Harrell Alvin and Callie McGinnis Womack, sisters Nettie Womack Rigsby, Dora Womack Mullican, and Nona Womack Foster, brothers Brian Womack, Austin Womack, Lilburn Womack.

Survivors include his wife Virginia Dare Womack, daughter Sharon McCoin, grandson Jayme (Amy) Adcock, great grandchildren James and Benjamin Adcock.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M Sunday, December 08, 2019, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Garry McBride and Bro. Frank Randolph will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery where Military Grave Rites will be conducted. The Family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 P.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
