Mrs. Jane Ann Hale age 91 of McMinnville, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. She was born March 18, 1932, in Nashville, was a member of Gath Baptist Church, worked for over 30 years with Genesco, and later retired from Aquatech. She was preceded in death by her parents Will and Mary Pauline Cooley Hale, husband Carl B. Hale, sisters Willette (Raymond) Richardson, Helen Inez (Fred) Packer, Ruth Grizzell, June (Dorris) Joines, and brothers Edwin (Christine) Hale, George Berry Hale, Haskell Hale, John Leroy Hale, and Tim Hale.  Jane Ann was known for sweet and kind spirit, she loved to entertain with her southern cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her brother Nathan (Eva) Hale, sisters-in-law Wanda Hale and Sue Thomas, special nieces Shelly (Greg) Greene, Crystal Melton, Paige Greene, David (Kylie) Greene, Austin (Lexie) Melton, Matti Melton, and Saylor Ruth Melton. Other family members, cousins, church family, and friends also survive.

Funeral services were conducted October 02, 2023, at Gath Baptist Church. Rachel Cantrell and Rick Stewart officiated. Interment followed at Gath Cemetery.
