Mr. Jerry Carl Greene, age 64, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025 at his home. Jerry was born on September 11, 1960 – he was a father, farmer, and a friend to all. He worked in agriculture as a nurseryman where he owned and operated Jerry C. Greene Nursery. He was a member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church. His grandkids were his world and he was a worker of the earth who built his business from the ground up, starting with just a shovel and a pick-up truck.

Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his parents James Elmer and Dollie Ellen Greene, his first wife Marcy Smith Greene, sister Gwyneth (Jack) Jones, and brother Ronnie Greene. He is survived by his children Hannah Nicole Greene, Cabe (Julian) Greene, Ethan Greene, Aidan Greene and his mother Misty Greene, sisters Linda Jones, Sandra Greene, Sherry (Randy) Devries, sister-in-law Patsy Greene, special niece Katie Jones, grandchildren Cove Greene, Jolie Greene, and Bennett Parker – they bestowed upon him his favorite title - Pa.

Funeral service for Jerry Greene is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 22, 2025 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Phillip Luna will officiate. Interment will follow at Webb Cemetery.  The Greene family will receive friends on Saturday, June 21 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
