Mr. Jesse H. King age 91 of McMinnville, TN, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Willow Branch Health Care in McMinnville, TN. He was born in Grundy County, TN, on October 03, 1930, was retired from Combustion Engineering, and was a Mason; Whitwell Lodge #563. Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Mary Roberts King, wife of 70 years Lillian Virginia Hines King, son Jesse M. King, daughter and son-in-law Brenda Joyce and Frank Farr, grandson Jacob King, daughter-in-law Carolyn King, great granddaughter Winter Odom, and brother-in-law Jesse Holt.

Survivors include his sons David R. (Iona) King of McMinnville and Danny King of Sparta, grandchildren Angie Odom of Rock Island, Daniel King and Heather King Watkins both of Sparta, great-grandchildren Ashley Hickerson, Montana Odom, and Elizabeth and Abigail Watkins,  great-great grandchildren Ashton and Brantley Hickerson and River Turner, and sisters Jean Holt and Patsy (Harvey) Kennamer. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.

Funeral services were conducted November 20, 2021 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Chris Keel and Carson Rust officiated. Interment followed at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
