Jessica Rae Jacobs, age 32 of Rock Island, TN, died Tuesday, December 01, 2020. She was born April 26, 1988, in Keflavik, Iceland and grew up in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 2006, where she enjoyed playing softball and excelled in Academics. She worked as a CNA before graduating in 2015 from the Tennessee School of Technology as an LPN. Jessica dearly loved her children. Ms. Jacobs was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Jack and Juanita Jacobs, maternal grandfather Francis Griffin, and her uncles Richard Conditt and Sean Griffin.

Jessica is survived by her parents James (Pattie) Jacobs of Rock Island and Sherri Griffin of Abingdon, IL, children Devin Louis and Aria Barlow, grandmother Mary A. Griffin of Abingdon, IL, sisters Jackie (Michael) Scarbury of Mt. Vernon, OH and Amanda Griffith (Mateo) of Gallatin, TN, aunts Kristi (Scott) Bachman of Springfield, MO, Marci (Kyle) Hansen of Van Dyne, WI, Judy Conditt of Rock Island, and Elaine Jacobs of Viola, TN, uncle John Jacobs of Rock Island, nieces McKayla Scarbury and Jocelyn Scarbury, nephew Jace Scarbury, great niece Emeree Scarbury, several cousins, and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted. Jeff Lance officiated. Interment followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Social distancing and the wearing of face masks were strongly encouraged.
