Mrs. Jessie Oleta Sandlin age 95 of McMinnville, TN, died Wednesday, July 03, 2019, at N.H.C. Health Care Center in McMinnville, TN. She was born October 13, 1923, in Smithville, TN, was a homemaker, and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Sandlin was preceded in death by parents Petway and Birdie Anderson McCaleb, husband James Otis Sandlin, son David Sandlin, sister Lola McCaleb, brothers Alfred and Joe David McCaleb, and daughter-in-law June Sandlin.

Survivors include her children Louise Boles Winkler and husband Jerry, Cathey (Keith) Carpenter, Odis Paul Sandlin, and Phillip (Angela) Sandlin, sisters Carol Davenport, Eleanor (Wayne) Simerly, and Joyce LeFever, and brothers Paul (Betty) McCaleb and Calvin (Diane) McCaleb. 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, July 08, 2019, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Harlen Simmons and Bro. Carl Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Brick House Cemetery. The Sandlin Family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Monday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
